A turnkey check-in station at the classroom entrance, built to become part of a student’s normal morning — a complete product, not software running on a spare tablet. Four things make it different:
A physical daily routine
The kiosk stands beside the classroom entrance, and checking in is simply part of walking in. No URL to remember, no extra tab on a Chromebook, no app to download, no survey to sit through.
Five to ten seconds, little or no typing
A student taps their name and answers “How are you arriving today?” with clear, age-appropriate choices — and can add what might be affecting them, if they want to. Then they're in their seat.
A private way to ask for someone
The most important tap on the screen: asking a trusted adult to check in — without raising a hand, approaching an adult in front of the class, or waiting until something gets more serious.
Follow-through a school can hold
A request becomes a tracked workflow — request, assignment, connection, follow-up, resolution — with a named owner and a visible response time. It cannot quietly become one more dashboard notification that disappears.

Check-in was up and offered every morning — the device on, the routine kept. That is the classroom's habit, not any student's answer.
Every ask was answered
Students who asked for an adult got a named person, promptly. This is the number that matters most, and it measures the adults.
Follow-ups were kept
Promised check-backs happened on time. Nothing sat unowned, and nothing quietly fell off the list.
What never counts
Tiers measure the classroom’s routine and the adults’ follow-through — never individual participation. No student’s check-in rate is ever counted, compared, or shown. A classroom is never marked down because one student chooses not to take part, and a family’s decision to opt out can never cost anyone a party. Children work out who is missing — so we built the scoring so there is nothing to work out.
